(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Ayatollah made the remarks while addressing a large congregation gathered in Tehran University campus here on Friday for the weekly ritual prayers.
He said that the negotiations between Iran and 5+1 Group is a good opportunity for the Iranian negotiators to prove that Iranophobia is a false idea and show that kindness underlies the Islamic administration even in relation with unbelievers.
Describing members of the Iranian negotiation team as vigilant and revolutionary people, Movahhedi-Kermani said however, they should come to know their opposing party well.
The team should find out their strategies and not be deceived by their smiles and hand-shakings, he said, noting that the main reason behind the US animosity was Iranˈs Islamic identity which they opposed.
Saying that Americans know well that Iran will not yield to domineering policies, he urged the Iranian negotiators to only focus on country’s dignity and interests.
Friday prayer leader also urged the team to give concessions only in exchange for similar ones, maintaining that an enemy is an enemy and as such it should not be treated with too much of optimism.
They are insatiable and will keep on seeking further excuses to take more advantages from the opposing side, he said.
